Shikhar Dhawan has returned to Delhi Daredevils after a decade. Dhawan had played for the Daredevils in the first edition of the IPL in 2008 before moving to Mumbai Indians for the next two seasons. He was then signed up by the Deccan Chargers – over the last few years, he was a prolific run-scorer for SunRisers Hyderabad.Sunrisers swapped Dhawan for Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem and Abhishek Sharma with Delhi.According to reports, Dhawan was unhappy with his current franchise SRH and there were rumours he was looking to return to Mumbai Indians.Dhawan was apparently unhappy with his fee and had been looking for greener pastures ahead of the next season. SRH did not retain him ahead of the mega auction earlier this year and bought him back from the auction for Rs 5.2 crore by using the RTM (Right To Match) card.
