From master chaser to Test saviour, Virat Kohli now also knows the art of drawing games

While India’s top order surrendered to English spinners, it was Kohli’s grit and class that saved the hosts from embarrassment. First, it was a 47-run partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin (32) for the fifth wicket that lasted over 15 overs and then an unbeaten 40-run stand with Ravindra Jadeja (32 not out) for the seventh wicket in 10 overs.
